About the Course
This programme, Artificial Intelligence and Automation Practitioner, is designed to help you harness AI to transform day-to-day work by identifying opportunities, designing agentic workflows with low/no-code tools, and driving meaningful team change. You'll learn how to analyse existing processes, evaluate and configure automation platforms, build AI agents with clear decision logic, and deliver responsible, measurable impact across your organisation's operations.
What You’ll Learn
AI Opportunity Discovery & Workflow Mapping: Analyse current processes, map workflows and identify inefficiencies where AI and automation can improve productivity.
Responsible AI & Safe Adoption: Apply data protection, employment and equality considerations, and responsible AI principles with clear governance and ethics.
AI Project Framing & Change Readiness: Scope, plan and communicate AI initiatives using project and change management approaches that account for human impact.
Designing Scalable AI Systems: Evaluate low/no-code AI and agentic automation platforms against scalability, accessibility, risk and business requirements.
Data Foundations for Agentic AI: Understand how data quality, structure and connectors shape performance when designing AI-enabled workflows across systems.
Building AI Agents & Prompt Engineering: Configure AI agents with clear inputs, outputs and decision logic while iteratively refining prompts for reliable execution.
Testing & Production Readiness: Apply testing and optimisation methods, implement human-AI collaboration models, and prepare solutions for dependable deployment.
Monitoring Risk & Bias: Identify bias, error and performance degradation, then implement fairness metrics and structured monitoring for sustainable adoption.
Strategic Governance & Compliance: Apply governance frameworks, AI assurance approaches, cyber security and auditability standards through practical documentation.
Workforce Enablement & Value Realisation: Design inclusive training and communication strategies, and measure productivity, efficiency and organisational outcomes using KPIs.
Staying Current: Keep up to date with existing, evolving and emerging technologies and sector trends in AI, automation and technology.

Enrolment Process
Getting started is simple and fully supported. Once interest is registered, both the learner and employer are invited to a friendly information call with our delivery team. This call explains how the programme works, what to expect from the training and assessment, and how the programme will support business objectives and individual career development.
The next step is completing the application and funding paperwork. Our team manages this process closely, guiding employers and learners through each stage to ensure everything is completed smoothly, accurately and with minimal administration time.
Before the programme begins, learners take part in an online induction. This introduces the learning platform, course structure, support services and key contacts, ensuring everyone feels confident, informed and ready to begin from day one.
