About the Course

The Team Leader Level 3 programme is designed for people working in first-line management roles who support teams and senior managers to achieve operational and project goals. Team Leaders play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of organisations, providing direction, guidance and support to ensure work is delivered effectively and in line with organisational procedures and legislation.

This programme is suitable for people working across private, public and third-sector organisations of all sizes. It supports those managing individuals, teams or parts of projects, and those looking to build confidence and capability in leadership, communication and operational management.

Requirements

  • Computer & Internet Access: A laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection.


  • Workplace Role: You should be working in a role where you support or manage people, projects or operational activity.


  • English & Maths: If you do not already hold Level 2 English and maths, you will need to achieve this before the final assessment.


  • Entry Criteria: Entry requirements are set by individual employers.


  • No Specific Age Restriction: This programme is open to adults of all ages and career stages, including those new to leadership or progressing into management.

Getting started is simple and fully supported. Once interest is registered, both the learner and employer are invited to a friendly information call with our delivery team. This call explains how the programme works, what to expect from the training and assessment, and how the programme will support business objectives and individual career development.

The next step is completing the application and funding paperwork. Our team manages this process closely, guiding employers and learners through each stage to ensure everything is completed smoothly, accurately and with minimal administration time.

Before the programme begins, learners take part in an online induction. This introduces the learning platform, course structure, support services and key contacts, ensuring everyone feels confident, informed and ready to begin from day one.
